After taking a 15 year hiatus, the Lord Kitchener not only returned to Carnival in 1963, but returned with a bang copping the Road March title that same year with his smash hit 'D Road'.

Ten years later after having won the title on numerous occassions he won the Road March yet again with a song entitled 'Rain-o-Rama' where he piconged the decision to take Carnival from it's usual home in February or March usually the Monday and Tuesday prior to Ash Wednesday, to the month of May. Unfortunately Carnival of 1972 was washed out and so came the inspiration of his 1973 hit & Road March winner 'Rain-o-Rama'.

It is from there, the Rama named was conceived. Kernal Roberts (son of the late great Lord Kitchener) and head producer and C.E.O. of Rama Studios Inc. alongside the rest of his Rama family continue to carry on his father's legacy, name and the piece of Carnival history that it is Rain-o-Rama.
