Hans Jürgen Pohland was born on December 4, 1934 in Berlin, Germany. He was a producer and director, known for Katz und Maus (1967), Tamara (1968) and Tobby (1961). He died on May 17, 2014 in Mandelieu-la-Napoule (Alpes-Maritimes, France).
He was Member of the jury at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1965.
