Emna Mrabet was raised in Tunisia before moving to France to pursue her higher education. She holds a master's in film studies, and made two films around the theme of uprooting : PAROLES D'EXILES and ABSENCE. A L'AUBE DE NOS REVES is her latest documentary which offers a trip to post-revolutionary Tunisia. Her films have been selected in several festivals : "Panorama des Cinémas du Maghreb et du Moyen Orient", "Nuit Blanche" (Ukraine), "Rendez-vous de l'hsitoire de Blois", "Mois du Film Documentaire", "Festival du Cinéma Méditerranéen de Tétouan". With a PHD in cinema, she is the author of the book "Le cinéma d'Abdellatif Kechiche : Prémisses et devenir" (Riveneuve 2016). She is also a university teacher, researcher and critic. She has been collaborating regularly, for several years with the Cinémathèque Française.
