Mokhtar Benboucha, manager of a big fishing company in Agadir, sees his life get disrupted the day his wife, Meriem, nailed down the leading role in the movie adaptation of Othello by William Shakespeare, directed by the famous Rachid Berrada.
Mokhtar, the jealous husband, will do everything to keep his wife at home and live a quiet life by trying to stop her acting career: he has her followed, simulates threats and harassment, tries to impregnate her. All to no avail.
But to Mokhtar's pleasure, the movie director faces some issues and the shooting is canceled. However, a few months later, while his wife Meriem is singing at the restaurant for his birthday, a big movie producer falls for her and promises to turn her into a famous arab singer.
