Salimata, a young Senegalese student in Morocco, learns that her sick mother is dying. She has no money to buy a plane ticket, so she hitchhikes on the road to find her.

Salimata, 23, a fourth-year student in Morocco, learned that her sick mother was dying. Having no money to pay for a plane ticket, she decides to take the road to go to her country to spend these last moments with her mother. And this journey will be marked by her meeting Khalid who will take her aboard his van.
