Goethe-Institut Kigali will present "Born to be passionate", a photography exhibition by Rwandan photographer Jacques Nkinzingabo. For the first time, a Rwandan photographer is going to have a solo exhibition with his own works in his home country.
"Born to be passionate" is a carefully selected assortment of the hundreds of thousands of single images, extracted from different documentary projects and events, which have been captured during the last three years. The subjects of the photos have been inspired by the Rwandan culture off the beaten track. Jacques Nkinzingabo deals in his photography with the complex reality of human labor and the environmental conditions evolving over the times, using the images he captures as a form of visual confrontation.
