1962. It is the end of the Algerian war...
Jérôme Cartier, a young parisian journalist, leaves to Algiers to join his friend François, a service-man like him, also parked at the army newspaper. As a "civilian" this was certainly holidays... But the OAS launched their operation "Burnt Land". Leaving nothing to the Arabs after the close independance which was bound to occur, such was the aim.
Jérôme is going to find himself in the middle of the turmoil of criminal bombings in a crazy city stricken by terror.
