Self-contained and reticent,
Steven Grootboom considered an outsider by some members of his community, lives for his family and his income generating vegetable garden. Unexpectedly, Steven's world comes crashing down when he is diagnosed with breast cancer. This devastating news takes a toll on Steven, his wife and most of all Steven's relationship with his son who's in the middle of his school leaving examinations.
